Be Yourself. Be Happy.

Of the grand order of folio leviathans, the Sperm Whale and the Right Whale are by far the most noteworthy. They are the only whales regularly hunted by man. To the Nantucketer, they present the two extremes of all the known varieties of the whale. As the external difference between them is mainly observable in their heads; and as a head of each is this moment hanging from the Pequod's side.

Stay Positive. Always.

I’m a hairdresser in FNQ and swear by this one product to keep the frizz at bay.

In this season of high humidity, it might feel like you’re battling an endless tirade against the dreaded frizz.
Even the strongest hairspray and haircare routine would struggle to beat the intensity of North Australia’s humidity.
But Townsville hairdresser and owner of Sol Rae Hair said she’s done the hard work, tried and tested multiple brands, and now swears by this one product.
“In Far North Queensland, it’s a whole different ball game to anything south of Brisbane when it comes to hair and taming the frizz,” she said.
“However my tried, tested and loved product which I use on almost every client before they walk out the door is Keune’s Climate Control.

Townsville hairdresser and owner of Sol Rae Hair Studio Sarah Pierson swears by Keune’s Climate Control.

“I use it as a pre iron spray to keep hair styled even on the most humid days.”
The product promises to offer up to 90 per cent humidity protection.
“I can vouch for that, and I know it works because my client’s hairstyle stays intact when they walk out the door.”
However, she said correct prep was always key to getting the ultimate results.
“After you’ve shampooed and conditioned your hair, go in with Jeval’s Dream Cream as your hair moisturiser, then Keune’s Tame Game, blow dry and style as desired and finish with Climate Control,” she said.
“It’s just a few steps but life and your hair will be a lot better for it.”
